Designed for participants confident in their skills and ready to compete at a higher professional level.
For artists with up to 2 years of professional experience.
A suitable level for developing skills and gaining competition experience in a structured environment.
The level is selected by the participant during registration based on honest self-assessment.
If your experience formally matches the Master level but you feel more confident competing in Junior, your application may be reviewed individually.
Advanced Junior participants may choose to compete in the Master category.
Evaluation standards remain the same for all participants — only timing and comparison groups differ.
WAPMUA competition categories cover the main areas of permanent makeup, allowing artists to demonstrate their technique and specialization.
Powder brows created using machine shading technique.
Lip blush and lipstick-effect permanent makeup.
Machine-based hair stroke brow technique.
Manual hair stroke technique performed with a blade.
Soft shaded eyeliner / eyelid shading technique.
Scalp micropigmentation for density and hair simulation.
Corrective and camouflage work on existing permanent makeup in a selected area.
Practice-based PMU work on artificial skin (latex), intended for Junior participants.
Participants may enter one or multiple categories.
Each category is registered and evaluated separately, including its own model, submission, and judging process.
WAPMUA online semi-finals are held across multiple countries following a unified structure and clear schedule.

Winners are determined in each category and level (Master / Junior).
Top placements are not only awards — they define your position within the international professional community.

Online participation is available for countries that do not yet have a local offline WAPMUA organizer. If your country already has a national WAPMUA championship, after selecting your country you will see a link to the local organizer’s page and will be able to register through them.
Entry fee: from €250 per category for one participant.
You can join multiple categories – each category requires a separate registration and payment.

Any artist/Junior from a country without a local offline WAPMUA championship can participate, as long as they have a model and meet the requirements.
Requirements: a model for each category, stable internet, phone/camera on a tripod, a workspace that meets basic hygiene standards.
After registration the participant receives an email with confirmation, instructions and a link to the chat; then a host/coordinator for their country gets in touch.
If there is already a local organizer in the country, participation goes only through the national championship (this is linked from the page).
No, prior competition experience is not required.The WAPMUA online championship is open to both beginners and experienced artists through two levels: Junior and Master.
Participants choose their level based on their experience and confidence.Strong Junior participants may apply to compete in the Master category.

Your activity must be related to permanent make-up and be officially registered in accordance with the legislation of your country.
You must have experience of participating and winning prizes in permanent make- up championships held at national or international level in the last three years.
You must have at least one year of experience in permanent make-up training and a minimum of ten students who have successfully completed your courses.
You must have a minimum of one media mention of your professional activities or achievements in permanent make-up.
At least one of your students must have won a national or international permanent make-up championship in the last three years.
